Modular Chair
Professor: James Rose Spring 2022 Group: Georgia Beckner, Sophie Smoke, Sarina DePalma
The Modular Chair was the result of designing within the constraints of tools and materials: one sheet of plywood and a CNC mill. This chair acknowledges the planar nature of plywood while also applying a versatility to it. It is designed to morph to the user’s needs by being modular. One side of each box has pegs, and the other three have holes to secure them together in an array of configurations.
